The 1922 basketball five won the interclass series by defeating the 1923 team yesterday afternoon, 33-19. The game ended the series for the season, leaving the Juniors at the head, the Sophomores second, and the Freshmen leading the Seniors by two whole games.
Play was fast in the final game, especially in the second half. The 1922 men jumped off with a rush at the beginning of the first period, scoring twenty-three points in fifteen minutes to the Sophomores' four. The latter team tightened in the second period and led in scoring, but the lead was too large to overcome.
M. B. Lowenthal Unc., playing for 1922, was the outstanding player of the game, scoring eight field baskets.
