Independent Five Faces M. I. T.

The Crimson Independent basketball five, composed of members of the University and interclass teams, will oppose M. I. T. this afternoon at 8 o'clock in the Walker Memorial Gymnasium. The game will be a feature in the Junior Week program at M. I. T.

The Independents have been very successful in a number of games they have played lately. This afternoon's contest is sanctioned by the H. A. A. The Crimson line-up will be as follows: Mahoney and Palle, r.f.; Greenberg, l.f.; love c.; Depopole and Chase, r.g.; Egan, l.g.

At the first practice of the University Gun Glee held at the H. A. A. traps at Riverside yesterday, nine men reported for shooting.
