Dr. W. Martin will give his first of three lectures on Dutch painters and paintings this afternoon at half past four in the lecture room of the Fogg Art Museum. The lecture will be instructive in "How to Look at Old Dutch Portraits", and will be well illustrated with lantern slides. The other two lectures will be given tomorrow and Wednesday afternoons.
Dr. Martin, who is a pupil of Dr. Bredius and of Dr. Hofstede de Groot, is the Director of the Royal Picture Gallery at The Hague, and Professor of Art History at Leyden University. Te is the author of monographs on old Dutch masters and collaberator of several scientific periodicals and books of reference.
