At a meeting of the elected members o the University Glee Club last week a new constitution rather than attempt to amend the old one, came as a result of the rapid growth in the size and range of the activities of the Glee Club since the ratification of the old constitution two years ago.

In the first article of the new constitution it is definitely stated that: The name of this organization shall be the Harvard Glee Club and in the next article it is provided that "the object of the Club shall be to promote interest in the singing of good music.

There have been changes in almost all the clauses. The most important development however is the attempt to give the elected members some regular connection with and to a certain extent control in the general policies and activities of the organization.

There has also been an attempt on the part of the drafters to incorporate in the new Constitution a method of carrying on side activities of the Club and of regulating the internal social relation of the members.

The Constitution provides for the election and duties of the officers and for the membership and work of the Executive Committee Prials for candidates "shall be held during the first two weeks of College and not later than three weeks after the Mid-year Examinations according for Article thirteen.

One of the most important new features of the Constitution is the provision for the elect of honorary members it was inserted in an order that M. Berasni Fay, who has been instrumental in making arrangements for the trip to Boston might be elected to the Club.
