"The Witching Hour", a successful film adaptation of Augustus Thomas' well-known play by the same name, is the feature on this week's bill at the Modern and Beacon Theaters. Dealing with the theory of will power and the control of mind over matter, the plot is of interest, although not worked out very skillfully.
