Eight concerts have been scheduled by the University Band for its spring trip which is to be held in the April recess period. Although final plans have not yet been concluded, the general route has been determined and most of the halls have been booked. The series of concerts will open with a performance at Atlantic City on Saturday, April 15. The second will be an Easter Sunday recital, but the city has not yet been selected. On Monday night the Band will play at Leihmano Hall in Baltimore, under the auspices of the Harvard Club of that city. Arrangements for a concert on Tuesday have not been completed. The next day, April 19, the Band will start on its return trip, playing at some New Jersey city and on Thursdays a special performance will be given in New York. From there the men will go to New Haven, where a joint concert will, in all probability, be given with one of the Yale musical clubs. A benefit performance for the Trumbull Professorship of Connecticut will be given at the final stop, Hartford, on Saturday.
The concerts will last but an hour and a quarter and in most cases will be followed by dancing. Music for the dancing will be furnished by "The Original Six", an orchestra made up of members of the Band.
