SQUASH TOURNAMENT REACHES END OF THIRD ROUND OF PLAY

Fourth Round Will be Completed by Monday--Entries for State Squash Racquets Tournament Close Today

In the College squash racquets tournament, all but two of the third round matches have been completed, and this round will end tonight. The fourth round, the squash management announces, is to be completed by Monday night.

The most interesting of yesterday's matches was that between Malcolm Bradlee '22, captain of Team A, and R. C. Janin '22, a 1921 letter-man with two years' experience, who has been unable to play so far this season. Although Bradlee won in straight games, Janin's playing improved materially during the match. The final score was 15-2, 15-7, 15-12.

Another interesting match was that between R. E. Smith '22 of Team A, and his brother, A. L. Smith 3d '25, both former St. Paul's School stars, which the former won with difficulty. Myles P. Baker '22, another member of Team A, easily defeated C. J. Mason Jr. '22 of Team B. while E. M. Hinkle of Team A also had little difficulty in winning.

So far only 12 men have signed up to play in the Massachusetts State Squash Racquets Tournament, entries for which close at noon today. A blue book has been placed in the University Squash Courts, and all members of the University are eligible to enter.
