The field events in the annual fall handicap track and field meet will begin this afternoon promptly at 3 o'clock on Soldiers Field. Medals will be awarded by the H. A. A. for first, second, and third places.

Today's events will be run off in the following order: high-jump, pole vault, broad-jump, and javelin throw.

Although it is doubtful if any University records will be broken this afternoon, Coach Farrell expects a very creditable showing from his men. Coach Mikkoja, too, should be well satisfied with his javelin men, whom he has been drilling consistently for today's contest.

The track events of the meet will begin tomorrow at 3 o'clock, and will be run off in the following order: 100-yard dash, 440-yard run, 880-yard run, 120-yard low hurdles, one mile run, and three mile run.
