47 WORKSHOP TO STAGE "SLUG" AT 8 TONIGHT

First Presentation of Year, a Play of Hobo Life in the Northwest, to be Given at Agassiz House--John Collier '23 in Leading Part

Tonight at Agassiz House at 8 o'clock the 47 Workshop will present as its first play of the year "Slug" by Henry Fiske Carlton. This is a three-act play of hobo life in the Northwest which was written in 47a last year, receiving honorable mention in the Belmont Prize competition. A second performance, restricted to members of the 47 Workshop and those on its guest list, will be held at the same place tomorrow night.

Slug will be played by John Collier '23, who took the part of Beranger in the Dramatic Club production last year. Miss Edith Coburn Noyes, who played the leading role in "Makers of Light", will take the part of Effie.
