Harvard Students To Vote on Divestment From Israel in Inaugural HUA Election Survey
Major, F. W. Moore '93, Graduate Treasurer of the H. A. A. issued an invitation yesterday to all the football coaches, officials, and captains in this district to attend a meeting at the Harvard Club, on Friday, March 3 at 8 P. M. This is one of a series of sectional meetings called by the Football Rules Committee in an effort to ascertain the opinions of all the football representatives throughout the country and to obtain suggestions to be put before the Rules Committee on March 10 and 11. A similar meeting was recently held in New York at the Biltmore Hotel and resulted in numerous suggestions which will be put before the Committee. No official action can, of course, be taken but the concensus of opinion gathered in these meetings is expected to have weight in the official meeting of the Rules Committee. Major Moore sent letters to thirteen of the colleges in this section of New England so a wide representation of the opinions of the section should be obtained.
