FRESHMEN TO FACE YALE YEARLING QUINTET TODAY

The University Freshmen will meet the Yale Freshmen at New Haven this evening in the final game of the season; neither team has an impressive record.

The Crimson with six victories and five defeats would appear to be the favorite over the Yale team which has won only five games and lost eight. It is difficult to predict the result with any certainty, however as Exeter, the only team which both have faced, defeated each by approximately the same margin.

For the University yearlings Captain Samborski and Morrison at right and left guard respectively, have played the most consistent game throughout the season while Merriam has displayed brilliant work in some games. Samborski especially has added to the team's effectiveness, not only by the stubbornness of his defensive playing, but by his ability to score points as well. For Yale, Captain Bench at right guard and Luman at center have been the outstanding players.

During the past week Coach Tolbert has had his men scrimmage several times against the University five at the Hemenway Gymnasium so as to accustom them to a strange floor. He will have the full strength of his squad at New Haven, and will be almost sure to call upon Middleton, King, and Bourne to help out the regulars.
