The Columbia foilsmen, last year's intercollegiate champions, fell an easy prey to the University fencing team Saturday afternoon in Hemenway. The 7-2 victory marks the sixth consecutive win of Coach Danguy's men, who are so far undefeated this season.

Captain Bencoe, runner-up in last year's individual interscholastic tournament, succeeded in outfencing Brewster, and Captain Boyce, but went down to a 7-3 defeat by E. H. Lane, substituting for E. L. Lane. Brewster, a letter man last year, who took part Saturday in his first meet of this season, showed up well in all his matches, and will take part in the Yale meet in Hemenway on March 18. The epee match was won by Barss, who defeated Farley of Columbia.
