ANNUAL SPRING CONCERT BY SODALITY AT COPLEY

The one hundred fifteenth annual spring concert of the Pierian Sodality Orchestra will be given at 3.30 o'clock this afternoon in the Copley Theatre. Tickets for $2.50, $2.00, $1.50 and $1.00, and boxes seating five people for $20.00 are on sale at Herrick's, the box office, and the Pierian office in the Music Building.

The Pierian Sodality, which was founded in 1808, is one of the oldest musical organizations in America. Established at a time when all instruments and music had to be obtained from Europe, the orchestra, by its untiring efforts, was directly responsible for the founding of a Department of Music at the University.

The conductor of the orchestra this year is W. H. Piston Jr. '24, an assistant in the Department of Music and formerly a member of the Boston Musical Association Orchestra. The program for this afternoon is as follows: Symphony in B minor  Schubert Prelude to "The Deluge"  Saint Saens Song of the Sandman from "Hansel and Gretel"  Humperdinck Valse Triste  Sibelius Minuet and Gavotte  Lulli Overture to "Iphigenia in Aulis"  Gluck
