The Freshman nine will meet its first schoolboy opponent of the season this afternoon when they face the Pomfret nine on the latter's diamond.
Coach Young will take the entire squad of 17 men on the trip, leaving by automobile at noon. Toulmin, who has been out for four weeks with a broken ankle, will hold down third base today and Hodder will be shifted to Chase's position in the outfield.
Although the Pomfret team comprises seven veterans the nine is considered weak with the exception of Dumaine, a pitcher who may be expected to give a good exhibition.
