Yesterday afternoon on the Divinity courts, the Freshman tennis team defeated by a score of 6-0 the Browne and Nichols netmen. Following the match, William White Ingraham of Oakland, Rhode Island, was elected captain of the 1925 team.
During the course of the play the yearlings were never hard-pressed, the schoolboy players showing excellent form but manifesting an evident lack of experience. Only the match between Rosen of the University and Russ went to three sets, but Ingraham and Parker provided some spectacular playing before the former won.

Doubles.--Ingraham and Dixon (H) defeated Parker and Payne (B and N), 6-2, 6-1: Bondi and Briggs (H) defeated Ruse and Stanton (B and N), 6-1, 6-2.
