Rowing an unusually high beat, which it kept up to the end, the Choate School eight nosed out Browne and Nichols for the "Yale Challenge Cup" over a three quarter mile course in the Basin yesterday. C. H. Hawes '23 and C. W. Wood '23 won the mile pair-oar race at 3.30 o'clock, while W. H. Mitchell 1L, and L. J. Moore Sp. crossed the line in the lead in the double scull finals held later in the afternoon J. P. Whittall '25 won the Freshman Manager Coxswain Wherry race.
