LACROSSE TEAM LOSES TO HOBART

Two-Day Trip Brings Two Defeate--Cornell Wins by 6-0 Score

Playing on a muddy field, which hampered the effectiveness of both teams, the University lacrosse team brought its two-day trip to a close on Saturday, when it met defeat at the hands of Hobart College, by a score of 12 to 0. In the first game of the trip, with Cornell at Ithaca on Friday, the Crimson players lost by a score of 6-0.

Both Cornell and Hobart proved exceptionally strong opponents, with which the Crimson stick-handlers found themselves unable to cope. Hobart, which was runner-up to Syracuse, the Intercollegiate Lacrosse League champion last year, has one of the best teams in the country, having won all of its games up to the present time.
