FOUR LECTURES BEFORE MID-YEARS TO COMPLETE LIBERAL CLUB PROGRAM

Four more lecturers have been scheduled to address the Liberal Club before the mid-year period. These, together with the meetings of the Harvard International Assembly to be held at the Club this week, will complete the most extensive lecture program ever attempted by the Liberal Club in any half-year.

Mrs. Hannah Sheehy Skeffington, an elected member of the Sein Fein executive committee, will speak on "Ireland" at luncheon tomorrow. Mrs. Skeffington is one of the five women members of the Dublin City Council, and a Justice in the Republican Court.

On January 15 Sidney Hillman, President of the Amalgamated Clothing Workers of America, will address the Club, taking for his subject "Reconstruction in Russia". Mr. Hillman, one of the outstanding figures in the labor world today, has just returned from Russia a few weeks ago, where he was sent by the Amalgamated to make contracts with the Soviet government for the manufacture of clothing for the Russian people.

For the evening of January 17, the Liberal Club will have as its guest the Honorable W. Cameron Forbes '92, Governor-General of the Philippines under President Taft and a member of the recent investigating commission. With first-hand knowledge gained from his great experience in the islands. Mr. Forbes will discuss some political aspects of the Philippines.

Assistant Professor E. A. Hooton of the Department of Anthropology in the University will be the final speaker before mid-years. Professor Hooton will address the Club at luncheon on January 19 on the subject of "The Race Question from the Standpoint of the Anthropologist."
