TEAM B TO MEET FRESHMEN

First String Basketball Players Take a Rest Today While Seconds and 1926 Play in Hemenway at 3 o'Clock

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

This afternoon at 3 o'clock Team B of the University basketball squad will meet the Freshman in the Hemenway gymnasium. Endicott will play center, since A. E. Reed, who has been holding this position, is out with injuries that may keep him on the side lines for two weeks.

Coach Wachter is giving his first string players a complete lay-off before starting hard practice for the game with New Hampshire State College on Friday January 26, and Worcester Tech. at Worcester on the following night. Two of the Crimson five are laid up, but they will probably be in condition for these games.

Jones Elected '26 Captain

Harold Robertson Jones '26 of Kansas City, Missouri was elected captain of the Freshman basketball team yesterday afternoon after practice. Jones was the captain of the Kansas City Country Day School quintet and proved to be one of the high scorers for the yearling five where he plays a forward position.
