Hallowe'en is a dead issue with the undergraduate declared members of the College police force yesterday when questioned as to whether they would put extra men on duty tonight to watch the College property. They declared there would be no extra trouble due to Hallowe'en.
One of the older watchmen said: "There was a time when the undergraduate cut loose on Hallowe'en and we had out hands full watching anything that was movable. Now the undergraduates are too dignified to get any pleasure out of such pranks. Most of them won't even know it's Hallowe'en."
