ZARAKOV MAY NOT PLAY IN YALE FRESHMAN GAME

SQUAD OF 30 MEN STARTS FOR NEW HAVEN TOMORROW

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The possibility revealed yesterday, that Zarakov, the Freshman backfield star, may not be in the starting line-up on Saturday when the Freshmen meet the Yale Freshman football team at New Haven in the final game of the season, considerably dampened the Crimson hopes. Zarakov, who was badly mauled in the game with the Princeton Freshmen last Saturday, was hobbling about with a cane yesterday afternoon, and the chances for getting him in shape before the Freshmen face Yale are becoming poorer as Saturday draws near.

Daley Still in Serious Condition

Captain Daley's condition is still reported to be serious also and there is as yet no certainty that he will be able to start against Yale. Miller and Coady, the two regular halfbacks who were also damaged last Saturday are now in good condition again.

Prolonged scrimmaging was the program laid down yesterday afternoon by Coach Campbell for the Freshman squad. Beginning early in the afternoon, the Freshman scrimmaged until nearly 5 o'clock when darkness drove them into the Locker Building. For part of the time the Freshmen worked, against the dormitory teams, and for part against Coach Knox's seconds.

Squad Leaves For New Haven Tomorrow

A Freshman mass meeting will be held in the Smith Hall Common Room this evening. Tomorrow the team will leave for New Haven. In the afternoon they will practice in New Haven.

The squad of players which Coach Campbell will take to New Haven tomorrow includes the following 30 men: Bohlen, Bond, Coady, Clifford, Colby, Coolidge, Daley, Dean, Durant, Hamlen, Hesse, Kilgour, Kepner, Lockhart, Miller, Platt, Porter, Powning, Robinson, Rosencranz, Rudman, Savory, Sexton, Sedgewick, Scott, Smith, Stewart, Upton, Welch, Zarakov.
