EIGHT PLAYERS ARE SEEDED FOR FALL SQUASH TOURNAMENT

Cowles Will Pick Squad of 18 Players as Result of Matches being Played

Eight men have been seeded in the University Squash tournament which begins Monday in the University Squash Courts Building, in the order named: Channing Wakefield 3L, W. P. Dixon '25, Lawrence Foster 3L, Carrol Harrington '24, M. P. Baker 1G, F. I. Carpenter '24, F. W. Crocker 3L, J. H. Douglass 3L.

Coach Cowles will pick a squad of 18 men on Monday as a result of the trial matches which are now being played. It is his plan to hold trial matches for the first squad every week to determine the relative position of the 18 players in the squad. A weekly tournament will also he held for the remainder of the squash players, the winner of this tournament having the opportunity to play the last man on the University squad and take his place if successful.

The Freshman squash tournament squash tournament is now in progress on Freshman courts and on Monday. Coach Cowles will choose eight men as the nucleus of the Freshman squash team.
