VICTORY--NOTHING LESS

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Harvard is determined to defeat Princeton. Undergraduates and graduates are going to Princeton ready to support the team to the last ditch. But they are also going to "demand a win". Two years of defeat have cut deeply into the undergraduate spirit and the University will not be satisfied this year with explanations or excuses; nothing but victory will suffice.

Harvard is determined to defeat Princeton. The spirit at the mass meeting last night showed that. And the few who did their best to spoil it, who threw caps and giggled in corners, count not at all. They represent nothing.

Today on Soldiers Field, and far more on Saturday in Palmer Stadium every undergraduate's voice will be heard in the roar that goes up from the Harvard stands as Captain Hubbard leads his team on the field. Only two factors count in a football game a team that is able and determined to win and support that refuses to accept anything else, and is confident it will get nothing less than victory.
