Haines Is Guest of Crews Tonight

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

William Haines, retiring crew coach, will be the guest of honor at a dinner tonight given for him by the first two 150-pound crews of last spring. The dinner will take place at the Harvard Club at 7 o'clock.

Dr. R. Heber Howe '01, Director of Rowing last year, is expected to be present. And it is probable that Mr. Haines will be called on for some of the songs which have amused so many crews at Red Top.

Mr. Haines is leaving the University after a connection with Harvard rowing which dates back to 1916. On January 1st he will assume complete charge of the Institute of Technology crews.
