The American Academy in Rome has announced its annual competitions for a group of $1000 fellowships for study in the School of Classical Studies and the school of Fine Arts at Rome. Entries will be received until March 1, and all unmarried citizens of the United States, who comply with the regulations of the Academy, are eligible to compete.
In the competitions in classical studies, two awards are offered, a fellowship of $1000 for two successive years, and one of the same amount for a single year. For the School of Fine Arts, there are three prizes of $1000 each for three years for work in architecture, painting, and sculpture.
