UNIVERSITY FENCERS TO FACE VETERAN PENNSYLVANIA TEAM

Contest will Consist of Nine Bouts With Foils and Four With Duelling Swords--To be Held in Hemenway at 3

The University fencing team will face the University of Pennsylvania foilsmen at 3 o'clock this afternoon in the fencing room at Hemenway gymnasium.

Although the University team defeated Pennsylvania last year by the score of 9-0, the Pennsylvania team this year is composed of veterans. The University team will be composed of the following men: Foils: Captain E. L. Lane '24, E. H. Lane '24, and G. S. Sharp '24; duelling swords: C. S. Shearn Jr. '23, and S. K. Watson '23. The Pennsylvania team will line up as follows: Foils: H. S. Hettinger, captain, D. F. Cavers, and D. S. Thomson; duelling swords: H. S. Hettinger and D. F. Cavers.

In each of the two events every man will meet each man of the other team in one bout, making nine bouts in the foils and four in the duelling swords.
