SUMMER SCHOOL TO OPEN WEEK EARLIER THIS YEAR

Will Convene July 2 and Close August 11--Professor Murray Again Heads Teaching Staff of 100 Instructors

Opening one week earlier than last year, the fifty-third session of the University Summer School will commence this year on Monday, July 2, and will last until Saturday, August 11. A total of 150 courses in 29 subjects will be offered, most of which will be accepted as half-courses toward the degrees of A. B., A. A., and S. B., but can not be counted in addition to the corresponding courses in the College.

It has been announced this year that undergraduates with an average of B or better for the previous academic year and men who, for special reasons, have obtained the consent of the Dean of the College, may be allowed to count toward the degree of A. B. or S. B. two summer courses. No other undergraduates will be permitted to obtain credit for more than one half-course.
