PRINCETON, N. J., May 23--This afternoon on University Field, the Syracuse by the score of 9 to 6 in the Tigers eighteenth consecutive victory of the season. The game was marked by loose fielding and free hitting on both sides, Gorman, the Orange and Black's right fielder, leading the batters with three singles.

Syracuse started the game off in businesslike fashion scoring 4 runs before Caldwell, on the mound for the Tigers, could find himself. Princeton came back in its half on the finning, however, tying the score. One run in the second and two in the fifth gave the Tigers a lead which their opponents were never able to threaten thereafter.
