NEW HAVEN, CONN., May 4.--In preparation for tomorrow's regatta, the Columbia, M. I. T., Pennsylvania, and Yale crews all worked out on the Housatonic river today while the coaches put the finishing touches on their respective eights.

This afternoon the Yale tennis team defeated the M. I. T. racquet swingers with comparative ease by the score of 6 to 0, while tonight a 5 to 4 decision over Amherst was awarded the Yale debaters, who opposed the proposition of the United States entering a world court of international justice.
