In the competition for the Wingate Trophy, presented annually to the highest scorer in safe arrivals at first, stolen bases, sacrifice hits, and total runs, Captain Owen is leading with two and a fifth points to his credit, while Clark is second with one and a fifth. The former has reached first base 50 times and has scored a total of 22 runs, and the latter has stolen nine bases. In sacrifice hits, five men are tied for first place, Clark, Gordon, Buell, Owen, and Jenkins all having made two sacrifices.
In the competition for the Wendell bat, which is awarded to the highest batter, who has played in the majority of the games, Jenkins leads with an average of .410, and Owen is second with an average of .333.
The team as a whole has registered 14 home runs, and here again Owen leads with seven to his credit. Jenkins is second with three, Gordon has knocked out two, and Young and Hammond have each made one.
