Due to the popularity of squash as a compulsory exercise among the Freshmen last year and the resulting congestion at the old courts on Linden Street, eight new courts have been started in the Freshman Gymnasium and have practically reached completion. The new courts were begun on August 1, and will be ready for use in about two weeks when the planting is completed and the lighting fixtures are installed.
Three of the courts are being built on each wing of the building where the handball courts were formerly, and the remaining two are in the interior in the space reserved for wresting before the present project was undertaken.
