The Glee Club will hold its entrance trials on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, October 1, 2 and 4 at 6.45 o'clock in Sever 11. All members of the University, including Freshmen are eligible for the trials and, if they pass them satisfactorily, for the Club. The Glee Club management has announced that no one who is already a member of the club need report at these trials, which are being held exclusively to find out what new material is available in the college. In this they were especially successful last year when after the preliminary trials 138 men were retained. Those who are accepted in these trials become provisional members of the club until the quartet trials in November. If these latter are passed the men become members in good standing.

The schedule of concerts for the coming year while still incomplete promises to be an exceptionally good one. The first concert will be given jointly with the Princeton Glee Club at Princeton on November 9, the evening before the Princeton football game. The second concert will be held in Cambridge with the Yale Glee Club on November 23 before the Yale game. The first of the annual series of Symphony Hall concerts will be given on December 13, with Sigrid Onegin, contralto, as soloist. The second will be on February 14, with Pablo Casals 'cellist as soloist, and the third on April 3 with Lucrezia Bori, soprano with the Metropolitan Opera Company, as soloist.

Christmas Trip Extensive

The Christmas trip will start on December 22 and end on January 2. Concerts will be given in New York on December 22, in Chicago on December 26, in St. Louis on December 27, in Cincinnatti on December 28, and in Springfield, Ohio, on December 29. There are three more dates on the trip which have yet to be filled. The remaining engagements are at Wellesley on February 28, at the Intercollegiates in New York on March 1, and at Smith on April 26. In addition to these trips the club in connection with the Boston Symphony Orchestra will render Beethoven's Ninth Symphony at Symphony Hall on March 30. When the schedule is completed it will include approximately eight more concerts.
