Professor F. W. C. Lieder, G. '07, acting secretary of the Committee on the Choice of Electives, will explain the elective system to Freshmen in the College and the Engineering School assembled in the New Lecture Hall at 9 o'clock this morning. Professor Lieder, who teaches in the German Department, is delivering this informal address in accordance with the custom established several years ago of informing the incoming class of the operation of the elective system as modified by the requirements of concentration and distribution.
