PITTSBURG AGAIN A VICTOR, 4-1

Scores Decisive Victory Over Weakened Hockey Club Sextet

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Showing a superior brand of body checking on the defense and passing on the offense. Pittsburg last night gained a 4 to 1 decision over the Boston Hockey Club sextet before an enthusiastic capacity crowed at the Arena. The home team felt the lack of Owen, who was temporarily out of the line-up. Clever passes to lagging wings were responsible for three out of the four Pittsburg goals.

Pilling up a lead of two points in the first two periods, the "yellow jackets" momentarily let down, and the Hockey Club pushed in its only count. For some time the two teams battled up and down the ice without much advantage either way, until in the last few minutes of play the visitors scored twice in quick succession, making secure their early lead.
