The title of the play which the Dramatic Club will present this fall will be announced at an open meeting, Tuesday, October 14, in the Faculty Room of the Union. This meeting will be the formal inauguration of the new season for the Dramatic Club. Plans will be outlined and competitions will begin.
Associate Professor John Tucker Murray '99, will speak of the theory of drama and of acting. Eduardo Sanchez '26, president of the Dramatic Club, will preside.
Competitions for membership will be begun and explained. These will be open only to Freshmen and Sophomores and will take place in six departments of the club. This year, contrary to custom, there will be no competition for electrical department. The six fields open to candidates will be business, publicity, subscription, stage, art, and acting.
