Professor Dana Carleton Munro of Princeton will speak on "Impressions of Syria" at a meeting of the History Club tonight at 8 o'clock in Emerson D. The meeting is open to all students in the University.
Professor Munro is an expert of international reputation on mediaeval history. He has made a detailed study of the Crusades, the fruit of which appeared in his "Essays on the Crusades published in 1902. He also wrote a book on "Mediaeval Civilization."
Professor Munro has recently made a study of German practices during the World War, and has written two books on the subject which draw interesting and somewhat surprising conclusions concerning the German treatment of occupied territories.
