Governing Boards Present 182 Awards at Mid-Year Period

The Governing Boards of Harvard University have granted 182 degrees in the annual midyear award announced by the University, 9 of these being conferred with honors. This is 31 more than were awarded a year ago, in February 1923.

One of the degrees awarded for honorable military service during the war was granted to John Gallishaw, of Plymouth, N. H., who will speak at the Harvard Union March 3.

Among varied list of academic titles were 47 bachelors of arts, 34 masters of arts, 17 bachelors of science, 23 masters of business administration, 17 masters of education, and 12 doctors of philosophy.
