It was announced last night that the general subject for the series of two talks which Mr. Sherwood Eddy will give at the University on the evening of March 18 and 19, will be "Preparedness or Paolfiam?" On the first night at the Union he will discuss the subject of "The Roots of War," and on the second night at Phillips Brooks House he will reply to the question, "Can Civilization Answer the Problem?"
The talks are under the management of the Harvard Christian Association, and are open to all members of the University.
