Dr. C. V. L. Charlier, astronomer and mathematican, of Lund, Sweden, who is on his way to deliver a series of lectures during the spring and summer at the University of California, is coming to the Harvard Observatory today to spend a few days conferring with members of the Observatory staff.
Dr. Charlier is Sweden's most famous astronomer, and is widely known as an authority on the mathematical theory of statistics.
