In the last meet of the season before the Yale contest, the University wrestling team defeated Brown Saturday by a score of 17 to 6. Four decisions and one fall make up the Harvard score while the visitors won two decisions.
B. J. Goldberg '26 and Carl Stearns '26 triumphed in the 115 and 125 pound classes, over Brooks and Lalumia of Brown, although neither was able to win a fall. Morris Michelson '24 of the University team, won the referee's decision from Salzberger and in the next bout, Captain George Karelitz '24, wrestling in the 145-pound class, downed Smith of Brown in short fashion. F. B. Hill '26 conceded nearly fifteen pounds to Smith and even then lost the verdict only by a narrow margin.
In the 175-pound class, F. B. Bayno '26 defeated Eckstein, the star center of the Brown football team, in a bout that was never one-sided. Captain Spellman of the Brown team, was a shade too good for C. H. Bradford '26, in the unlimited class, although the decision was very close.
