The Yale University Glee Club won the Intercollegiate Glee Club contest held Saturday night in Carnegle Hall, New York city. Syracuse and Columbia divided second honors and Harvard failed to place. Thirteen colleges and universities were represented by their glee clubs including Grinnell College of Grinnell, la. The judges were Madam Louise Homer, Mr. Gilbert Gabriel, and Dr. Walter Damrosch, chairman. The contest was won on a point basis.
Sunday afternoon the Harvard Glee Club sang at the Harvard Club of New York with E. F. Knauth Jr. '24, conducting.
