Harvard Athletic Association Lays Down the Law on Distribution of Tickets for Stadium Football Games

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

In announcing that H. A. A. books and season tickets for football games are on sale and that applications for big game tickets are now in order, the Athletic Association has made only two changes in the rules governing these tickets.

The H. A. A. tickets, on sale at Leavitt and Peirce's as well as at the Athletic Association will not as formerly entitle the owner to an allowance of one dollar in his locker fee at either boat club. These non-transferable tickets at five dollars apiece are sold only to present members of the University, and admit the owner to all athletic events on Soldiers Field for the year except those with Yale and Princeton and the football game with Dartmouth.

Any present or former member of the University may buy a reasonable number of the season tickets which admit the bearer to reserved sections at all home football games except those with Yale and Princeton.

Graduates whose signature cards are on file may apply by mail for tickets to the Holy Cross, Dartmouth, Princeton, Brown, and Yale games, but other members of the University must apply in person and call for their tickets during the week before the game. A change in the rules makes the closing time for applications absolutely inelastic, by calling those applications eligible which are received on time, and not as formerly those which are postmarked before the closing hour.

For applications for the Holy Cross and Brown games, which close October 6 and November 3 respectively, there is no limit as to number of personal use. Dartmouth game applications, closing October 8, are limited to four tickets, not necessarily for personal use. Princeton game applications, closing October 22, are limited to three tickets for personal use. And Yale game applications, closing November 3, may be for only two tickets for personal use. Men applying for the cheering section for this game may have only one seat.

To have tickets allotted together, applicants must file their applications together. Applications cannot be put together after they are once filed separately.

For transfering H. A. A. tickets or allowing any tickets to be sold at a premium, the penalty is blacklisting.
