BASKETBALL TEAM GOES TO TECH COURT TONIGHT

Two Crimson fives will see action today, the Freshmen entertaining Hebron Academy at 3.30 o'clock this afternoon in the Freshman Gymnasium, while the University will travel to the M. I. T. floor for its fourth game of the season at 8 o'clock tonight. The Engineers' floor will be used for dancing after the game.

The Crimson will attempt to crash back into the winning column tonight with a new line-up starting its first official game. The change, which Coach Wachter believes will be permanent, sends Rauh to the center position which he held on last year's five, while Leekley moves to forward, displacing Jones. The change has been imminent for some time, as something was needed to bolster the attack which has been the chief trouble so far this season. Not only does this change give the quintet added height and weight, factors which were by no means unimportant in the Columbia defeat, but it will practically double the scoring power of the forward line. Jones' passing and clever floor-work will undoubtedly be missed tonight, but Leekley is a greater scoring threat, and so far in practice has worked well with Smith.

A victory for M. I. T. tonight will be a distinct upset. A season which began with a one-point win from Northeastern and continued for three successive and decisive defeats at the hands of Williams, Amherst and Brown, leaves the odds distinctly with the Crimson in tonight's encounter.

The 1928 quintet will be out for its fourth straight win this afternoon, and it will probably meet a much stronger team than Tilton, Choate or Milton, the three victims of the Freshmen to date. Hebron will come to Cambridge with practically the same line-up as that which defeated the 1927 five in two overtime periods last year and should extend the Freshman quintet to the limit. HARVARD  M.
