CAMBRIDGE LATIN TRIMS SECONDS

Single Goal by Visitors Spells Defeat For Crimson

The Cambridge Latin School hockey team nosed out the University second sextet Saturday on the Charlesbauk rink 1 to 0, in a game marred by poor ice and a driving wind.

The game was shortened to three periods of ten minutes each. In the last period the seconds missed an opportunity to tie things up when Bailey, Crimson defense man, eluded the school-boy defense, and with a clear shot, passed to Canning. The goal-guard came out of the cage, and succeeded in blocking the shot.

Schoolnick, Latin defense man, was the best performer for the schoolboys, scoring the only goal of the game, and playing well defensively.

Score, Harvard Seconds 0, Cambridge Latin 1. Goal, by Schoolnick. Referee, Mooney. Time, three 10-minute periods. SECONDS  LATIN SCHOOL Pruyn, Whittall l.w.  r.w.
