CARLTON NAMED MANAGER OF 1929 FOOTBALL TEAM

Winslow Carlton of New York City has been appointed manager of the Freshman football team, according to the announcement made late last night by the football management.

William Stirling Youngman Jr. of Brookline has been appointed as assistant manager. Carlton entered Harvard from Choate, while Youngman is a graduate of Middlesex. Both Carlton and Youngman will be awarded their numerals at the end of the season.

Talbot Baker of Milton has been named second assistant manager of the 1929 eleven. He prepared at Milton.

The inter-dormitory chairmanship went to Brouson Griscom of Syosset, N. Y., a graduate of St. Paul's John De Laitre of Minneapolis, Minn., William Tappen King of Milton, and John Whiton Hutchinson of West Newton were appointed managers of Gore, Smith, and Standish, respectively. De Laitre, King, and Hutchinson all entered the University from Milton.

All these appointments are subject to the approval of the Athletic Committee.
