Pop Hits and Politics: At Yardfest, Students Dance to Bedingfield and a Student Band Condemns Trump
For the first time in the history of Harvard athletics, the Athletic Association has financed the University Band on a trip away from Cambridge.
Sixty of the 73 musicians who are journeying to Princeton today are having their face paid by the University. Contrary to the custom in past years, no collection has been taken up for the Band among the student body, and the 13 men who are above the quota of 60 fixed by the H. A. A. will be sent to the Nassan jungle by the Band itself, all its members contributing equally.
The University Band will reach Princeton by way of Fall River and the special Harvard night boat. They will entrain from the south Station at 6 o'clock today, and are slated to provide musical entertainment aboard the "Priscilla".
