FRESHMAN GRAPPLERS STRIVE FOR DORM GLORY

Freshmen will grapple for class supremacy when the 1928 Interdormitory wrestling championships take place on Monday afternoon at 3.30 o'clock in the Hemenway Gymnasium.

In seven classes bouts will be held between competing representatives of Gore. Standish, and Smith Halls to determine the winner. At 115, 126, 135, 145, 158, 175-pound and unlimited weights, the first-year men will wrestle not only for their dormitory but for a chance to earn a place on the 1928 team when it opposes Andover on February 14.

Although the winners are not necessarily assured of places on the Freshman team, they become the logical candidates for those positions. The winner of each bout wins four points, and the runner-up two points. For every tall registered, however an additional point is added.

In conjunction with the interdormitory bouts, team trials will be held for places on the University team when it opposes Norwich on the 14th of February.
