Prices up 60 Percent Since 1913

A new level of prices has been established in the last ten years, according to statistics collected by Professor H. R. Tosdal of the Business School, in connection with an investigation of the request for higher rates made by the New England Telephone and Telegraph Company. Professor Tosdal reviewed the price-levels for the lest ten years, with the conclusion that the average level of today is approximately 60 percent higher than that of 1913, and in many cases, 100 percent higher.
