GREENMAN EASILY WINS JUNIOR SINGLES RACE

CARROL CUP RACE TO BE ROWED TOMORROW AT 3

In the feature event on yesterday's program of the Intra-college Regatta, R.. B. Greenman '27 won the Junior singles in four minutes and 34 seconds with Nicholas Biddle '28, newly elected Freshman crew manager, second. Greenman won the one-half mile wherry race on Monday in three minutes and 18 seconds, and since his time in this race was two seconds faster in a wherry than the time of the winner of the novice singles for the same distance, he entered the Junior singles yesterday and won handily.

Law Students Win Pair Oar

In the pair oar event yesterday, two Law School students won easily. Eliot Perkins 2L. and R. H. Hopkins 3L. won the event over an impromptu half-mile course in front of Newell Boathouse in two minutes and 23 seconds.

J. E. Crowley '25 and W. D. Livingston 4E.S. won the double sculling event of the regatta yesterday from S. C. Davies 1G.B. and A. W. Beals '25 in three minutes and 18 seconds. The race was rowed over an impromptu half-mile course in front of Riverside Boathouse.

In the events rowed Monday, J. F. Waterman 1L. won the first heat of the novice singles with J. E. Crowley '25 winner of the second heat. The novice singles finals will be rowed today, together with the preliminaries of the 150-pound race.

The Carrol cup race, open to all scullers in the University, will be rowed Thursday at 3 o'clock. This event is the feature of the entire regatta, the winner being accorded the title of University sculling champion, and having his name engraved on the famous Carrol cup. In the Senior singles event also to be rowed on Friday, Russel Codman, runner-up in the National sculling championships last year, J. B. Shae, and W. A. Weber are entered. All of these men have been New England champions at one time.
