The only paper which will be read at the seventh annual meeting of the Association of Collegiate Schools of Business to be held in Columbus, O., on May 7, 8, and 9, will be that of Professor Donald K. David, M. B. A. '20, of the Harvard Business School. His subject will be Methods of Teaching Business in Schools of Business."
Dean W. B. Donham '98, Professor Nathan Isaacs S. G. D. '20, and Professor David left last night for the conference, where Dean Donham will serve as a member of the executive committee. Professor Isaacs will lead the discussion on the question. "The place of business law in the curriculum of a School of Business." He is the leading exponent of the idea that business law be taught as a part of a general course on the relation of business to its world.
Requests have been coming to the University from business schools throughout the country for an explanation of the case system schools. Professor David, who was the originator of the case system in teaching retail store management and insurance banking, has therefore been asked to explain his method at the conference.
